| Vitamin : FOLIC ACID
Why it is needed This B-Vitamin helps synthesize nucleic acids such as RNA & DNA. Necessary for red blood cell production, growth and reproduction. Essential during pregnancy, shown to reduce the risk of neural tube defects (birth defects affecting the brain and/or spinal cord). The U.S. Public Health Service recommends 400mcg a day of folic acid for women of childbearing age. Where it is found Brewer's yeast, liver, and green leafy vegetables. What it is most effective with B-Complex, B-12, Biotin, Pantothenic Acid, Vitamin C. Other Information
