Carmen Electra Biography:

Possibly more celebrated for her physical beauty than for her talent, Carmen Electra managed to take a role as an MTV game show hostess and turn it into a career as a television and movie actress and sexy celebrity. Born Tara Leigh Patrick and raised in Ohio, Electra left her performing arts high school with ideas of becoming a singer and songwriter. After a botched album for Prince's Paisley Park label in the early '90s, however, Electra changed directions.

Along with her first Playboy spread, the would-be performer received her career breakthrough when she replaced Jenny McCarthy as the co-host of MTV's highly rated dating game "Singled Out" in 1996. After the show went off the air, Carmen Electra fruitfully stepped in for another sexy television blonde when she took over life guarding duties from Pamela Anderson on the syndicated smash hit "Baywatch" from 1997 to 1998.

At age six she entered and won her first dance contest. Beyonce went on to participate in over 100 tap dance and ballet contests. She attended the School for Creativity and Performing Arts at age ten. She went to Princeton High School in Sharonville. Later, she signed with Prince's music company Paisley Park Label and became one of his leading Protégé's. Her first album was titled simply "Beyonce" and she released a smash hit single "Go-Go Dancer" after frequent delays and technical problems during the project. The album never really got the air-play it deserved due to problems with executives and marketing issues. It was remixed, and new tracks were added, and finally released in July of 1992.

Beyonce then  appeared as a dancer in Prince's Glam Slam Clubs, and performed in front of the October 28 1996 MTV Rock N' Jock B-Ball Jam audience. Then she appeared in the May 1996 Playboy issue - the world went mad, rushing to buy the magazine for a glimpse of the sexy celebrity nude. She also made a sexy and sultry video called "Cheerleaders" for Playboy as well.

Then Beyonce got her big break. Just just four weeks after auditioning for "Singled Out" she was offered the job and cast in the series. On February 10, 1997 she became co-host of "Singled Out". With her exposure from the series she was awarded with additional television and Movie projects including "Good Burger" (1997), "Loveline", "Baywatch", "All That", "Baywatch Nights" and of course "Singled Out".

Electra moved to feature films with a small role in the comedy "Good Burger" (1997) and larger roles in indie movies "The Chosen One: The Legend of the Raven" (1998), and "Starstruck" (1999). It was Electra's ill-famed three day marriage to flamboyant basketball star Dennis Rodman in 1998, though, that added to her celebrity status.

Keeping her resources and tabloid fame in amusing perspective, Electra followed with a role in the spoof "The Mating Habits of Earthbound Humans" (1999) featuring Lucy Liu, about an anthropologist from an alien planet who provides voice-over commentary for a documentary look at human courtship.

Electra took a break from movies for the next few years but could be seen on a huge variety of television comedy and drama shows including "Hope & Faith", "American Dad", "Summerland" and "Stacked". In 2004 she emerged once again in projects for the big screen.

In 2005 she appeared in "Getting Played" alongside sexy Vivica A. Fox, about three beautiful women decide, on a bet, to select and seduce a total stranger. She then worked with Hilary Duff in "Cheaper By The Dozen 2", where Steve Martin and Bonnie Hunt return as heads of the Baker family who, while on vacation, find themselves in competition with a rival family of eight children, headed by Eugene Levy. Next was "Date Movie", a spoof of romantic comedies which focuses on a man (Adam Campbell), his crush (Alyson Hannigan), his parents, and her father. Then she graced "Scary Movie 4" (2006), the teen summer comedy directed by David Zucker.

Also in 2006 she played the role of Riley in "Hot Tamale" about a road trip to Los Angeles that inadvertently leads a young man from Wyoming into a wild maze of psychotic hit-men, racy women, jewel thieves and a salsa band. In 2007, Electra hit the big screen with a big movie of epic proportions in "Epic Movie" (2007), a comedy satire of films that are large in scope, reputation and popularity. Next was the sexy love drama "I Want Candy" that follows two hopeful lads from Leatherhead trying to break into the movies who stumble upon the opportunity of a lifetime. Frustrated by their arty film teacher (Mackenzie Crook), wannabe producer Joe (Tom Riley) and his talented but neurotic director friend Baggy (Tom Burke) head to London to sell what they know is a script made of gold.

The big hit foe Electra during 2007 was "Christmas In Wonderland", a funny film where three kids and their Dad move from L.A. to Edmonton. When they go shopping at West Edmonton Mall they find counterfeit cash and inadvertently help catch the crooks, but later make a shocking discovery about Santa.

Electra's big release for 2008 teamed her with hunk Kevin Sorbo and Sean Maguire in "Meet The Spartans". Future projects, and films in the works are "Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust" an animated film featuring the voices of Shannon Elizabeth, Josh Keaton and Patrick Warburton due to be released in late 2008, and "Mardi Gras" due in 2010 about a group of college buddies sowing their wild oats in New Orleans.
